5 Years in the Ministry to Kids Work with Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) was started literally from the first days of our church life in 1992. Our church members were helping to publish more than 100 various Christian books written by CEF. Those were the lessons for children, teacher's manuals and literature for Christian parents.
After a while new CEF Centers were opened in other regions of Russia, so we had to give them all the letters of the kids from their regions. For 5 years of work 922 children got Certificates of Completion from our Center.

In 1994 one of the first CEF Bible Correspondence Centers in Russia was
opened in Penza-19 to send Christian lessons to children, and Raisa Prokofievna
Spitsina was one of the leading workers. We were sending the lessons to children
in 8 regions of Russia. We were keeping in touch with more that 500 kids aged 6-16!
Depending on their age children could receive from us one of the three types of lessons.
From the lessons they learned many biblical truths about God, Jesus Christ, righteous
life, and that the Lord wants to give every person a new life with no sin and in
fellowship with Him. After studying a lesson kids would send a card with their answers
back to us to get the next lesson. Many children trusted their life to Christ. After the
last lesson every child received a colorful Certificate and little gift from us.
This year
Raisa Prokofievna had to leave her work at the Correspondence Center because of some
health problems. God sent new workers to His Harvest. Vika Teplova
continues this work now. Interestingly, Vika was getting lessons from our Center 4 years
ago and she trusted the Lord then. After being taught how to do this ministry, Vika needs
helpers, and some of the church members are ready to help her in this ministry. Praise the
Lord!
